About

The pedigree of G Mannino & Sons reaches back to 1962 when Giuseppe (Joe) Mannino opened his furniture studio in Verona, Italy after learning his craft under a renowned master.  There he perfected his skills by producing beautifully crafted furniture for the demanding and often eccentric Italian clientele in a wide range of styles. After immigrating to Australia with his family in 1971, in 1973 he opened another studio in King Edward Road, Osborne Park. In 1981 his two sons Franco and Fiorentino joined him in their new and current premises at 11 Pearson Way, Osborne Park. A family owned and run business with many decades of experience, we operate in a niche market for a discerning clientele who can understand and appreciate real craftsmanship.  Our studio operates outside the constraints of trends and fashion and has become renowned and synonymous with highest quality products, creativity and originality. Our studio has established a reputation in Western Australia as a manufacturer of exquisite design, acquired after decades of hands-on manufacturing, thereby allowing an understanding of the principles of proportion, aesthetic balance of form and function. We apply age-old artisan skills to select and premium materials.  Our pieces range from period to traditional to contemporary to modern to retro; creativity being limited only by imagination. All stages of production, from design to final polishing, are executed in-house therefore ensuring full control of quality.  Ancient and, sadly, disappearing skills are also kept alive in our studio such as the beautiful art of inlay, done in various essences and applied to some of our pieces. Our studio can also cater for customers who wish for us to work from an existing drawing, idea or concept. Our pieces are destined to become family heirlooms which gain value over the years. The fundamental principle of our work ethic is based on the values of the past which are our inspiration.
